    Michele Peterson is a seasoned expert in culinary travel and recipe development, combining her knowledge of food, culture, and history to create engaging stories and dishes that bring global cuisine to life.
    Following a degree in Economics and successful career as an investment executive, she left the corporate world 20 years ago to pursue her true passion—exploring the world through food.
    She authored the Pacific Coast chapters of Lonely Planet’s cookbook Mexico: From the Source and Fodor’s Travel Guide to Oaxaca, Mexico. Her travel essays have appeared in 5 best-selling travel anthologies published by Solas House. An accredited member of the Travel Media Association of Canada, her  work has appeared in 100+ publications including National Geographic Traveler, Conde Nast, Fodor’s, Fifty-five Plus, the Globe & Mail and more.     With a background in agriculture, environmental sustainability and social justice, Javier Sanchez is a photographer and content creator who is passionate about the interrelation between food, tourism and heritage. An accredited media member of the North American Travel Journalists Association, he studied at the University of San Carlos in Guatemala and the University of Winnipeg.
